Military recruiting:
Recruiting personnel for the Defense Industry requires a unique understanding of military procedure and requirements. Our employees are former military personnel and defense industry recruiters who understand what is required of our candidates. We utilize modern testing methods and interviewing techniques to select only the best personnel for your project.
The experience:
Being employed with a government contractor can be a great challenge to any applicant. Working far from home and family is a stressful experience. The work day is long and the conditions are harsh but the rewards are many. The experience you gain working on the LOGCAP project can be carried with you to future positions. Employers will know that you are a true professional, capable of handling stressful environments and completing tasks with the highest standards. Employers seek out prospective employees with the abilities you will possess.
After completing the application process, you may be offered a position within LOGCAP. Congratulations, your adventure is about to begin. Initially, you will be flown to Dubai and then on to Iraq or Afghanistan. Once you arrive on site, you will be assigned living quarters by the Billeting department. Next, you will be introduced to your supervisor and co-workers. At this point, it is up to you to show your skills and prove your abilities.
Employees are expected to conduct themselves as professionals at all times. The military is your customer and you should treat them with respect at all times. If you ever find yourself in a confrontation with a co-worker or customer, always take the high road and diffuse the situation. Do not lash out or be drawn into an argument. You must remember why you are there and what is expected of you. If you are experiencing a problem with a co-worker and cannot resolve it yourself, report the problem to a supervisor and ask for advice.
During your employment, there may be times when you are unsure what to do when a problem arises. At this point, you should ask your Foreman or Supervisor for assistance. They are best prepared to help you avoid mistakes. Remember, if you do not know what to do always ask a supervisor. Your employment will be monitored and records will be kept concerning your performance. Supervisors will rate you on your on; attitude, teamwork and comprehension. The employees who excel on the job may be offered a promotion, pay increase or further employment past one year. If you are willing to prove yourself and give 100%, you will be rewarded for your efforts.
Working on the LOGCAP project can be one the greatest experiences you will ever have. The knowledge and skills you will gain are sought after by employers all over the world.
